English Language Courses – Starting September 2026
Frequently Asked Questions

1.Are the courses one-to-one or group classes?
Our CLIL courses are taught in small groups of up to six students, ensuring effective learning, active participation, and individual attention for every student.
The English Teacher Recruitment Exam Preparation Course, starting in January 2027, currently has no maximum number of participants.
CLIL groups consist of a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 6 students.
Courses run from 14 September 2026 to 30 June 2027. After the summer break, lessons resume in September 2027.
Students attend one 60-minute lesson per week.
We recommend joining when a new group is formed so that you can follow the entire learning programme. However, you may join later if a place becomes available in your preferred course and your English level matches that of the group.
Yes. There is no subscription or long-term commitment. Payments are made monthly, and at the end of each paid month you are free to decide whether to continue.
If you stop attending during a month that has already been paid for, the course fee cannot be refunded.
Courses are organised according to students' age and school stage (lower secondary school, the first two years of upper secondary school, and the final three years of upper secondary school) and are offered at two levels: Consolidation and Advanced.
If you are unsure which level is right for you, your teacher will assess your English through an informal interview or, if necessary, a short placement test.
If, during the course, it becomes clear that another group would be more suitable, you may be transferred to the most appropriate class, subject to availability.
Lessons cannot be cancelled or rescheduled individually.
If you are unable to attend your scheduled lesson, it cannot be refunded or made up at another time. However, you will receive all the lesson materials so you can study the content independently.
The lesson day and time are agreed when the group is formed and normally remain the same throughout the school year to ensure continuity and effective organisation.
If your circumstances change, you may request to move to another group, subject to availability.
All courses are delivered exclusively online via Google Meet, allowing students to attend from home or anywhere with an internet connection.

No. All teaching materials are provided free of charge by the teacher.
You will only need a notebook and a pen.
Occasionally, materials for the following lesson will be sent a few days in advance so that you can print them if you wish. Printing is recommended because it makes lessons more practical, but it is not compulsory. If you cannot print the materials, you can simply use them on your computer screen.

No. All courses are taught by Prof. Ivana Baric.
Prof. Baric holds a degree and specialisation in Foreign Languages and Literatures from the University of Udine, where she also completed a study period at the University of Windsor (Canada). She obtained her teaching qualification from Link Campus University, a Master's degree in CLIL Methodology from eCampus University, the Cambridge C2 Proficiency (CPE) qualification, and the CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from the University of Cambridge, one of the world's most prestigious teaching qualifications.
We cannot promise dramatic results in just a few weeks, despite what is often advertised online.
Learning a language requires time, commitment, and regular practice. With consistent attendance and independent study, students generally begin to notice significant progress after about six months. Regular exposure to English is essential, so we also encourage students to watch films and TV series, listen to podcasts, and read books and articles in English.
There is no traditional homework.
However, students are encouraged to review the topics covered in the previous lesson. In particular, they will be asked to talk about these topics in English. This usually takes around 15 minutes and is an excellent way to improve fluency and expand vocabulary.
No. The course follows its own structured curriculum and does not include homework support.
This allows lessons to remain focused on the planned syllabus and ensures that all students benefit equally.
CLIL courses cost €52.00 per month and include 4 or 5 lessons, depending on the calendar month.
There is no subscription. Payments are made monthly, and you are free to decide whether to continue each month.
Course fees are non-refundable if you miss lessons or stop attending during a month that has already been paid for.
Yes. Students receive a certificate of attendance at the end of the course.
Our courses develop the language skills required for international examinations and include activities similar to those found in these exams.
However, they are not exam preparation courses. Our aim is to help students develop strong English language skills and the ability to communicate confidently while exploring a wide range of real-world and cultural topics.
